October 15th...Today is for you!

Today is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. Today we remember all babies whom we carried but never met, all babies born sleeping, those we have held but could not take home, or those that came home but did not stay nearly long enough.
Tomorrow I will walk in the memory of my lost babies! And also in the memory of my great grandmother's baby. We will also be releasing butterflies!

Walk to Remember

We walk to remember the steps they'll never take.
Empty Arms Infant Loss Support Group is hosting Dothan, Alabama's 1st Annual Walk To Remember in recognition of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness month. The ceremony allows bereaved parents and their families to honor the lives of our babies lost through miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant death, and promote community awareness on the occurrence of Pregnancy and Infant Loss.

The ceremony will include a ½ mile walk, memorial service with the reading of each baby's name, and conclude with a butterfly release.
