My Job Description

Position: Mom, Mommy, Mama, Ma, Dad, Daddy, Dada, Pa, Pop

Job Description: Long-term team players needed for challenging, permanent work in an often-chaotic environment. Candidates must possess excellent communication and organizational skills and be willing to work variable hours, which will include evenings and weekends and frequent 24-hour shifts on call. Some overnight travel required, including trips to primitive camping sites on rainy weekends and endless sports tournaments in far away cities. Travel expenses not reimbursed. Extensive courier duties required.

Responsibilities: Must possess the physical stamina of a pack mule and be able to go from zero to 60mph in three seconds flat just in case, this time, the screams from the backyard are not someone just crying wolf. Must be willing to face stimulating technical challenges, such as small gadget repair, mysteriously sluggish toilets, and stuck zippers. Must screen phone calls, maintain calanders, and coordinate production of multiple homework projects. Must be willing to bite tongue repeatedly. Must have ability to plan and organize social gatherings for clients of all ages and mental outlooks. Must be willing to be indispensable one minute and an embarrassment the next. Must handle assembley and product safety testing of a half million cheap, plastic toys and battery operated devices. Must always hope for the best but be prepared for the worst. Must assume final, complete accountability for the the quality of the end product. Responsibilities also include floor maintenance and janitorial work throughout the facility.

Possibility for Advancement and Promotion: None. Your job is to remain in the same position for years, without complaining, constantly retraining and updating your skills, so that those in your charge can ultimately surpass you.

Terms of Service: The rest of yourlife.

Previous Experience: None required. On-the-job training offered on a continually exhausting basis.

Wages and Compensation: Get this--you pay them! Offering frequent raises and bonuses. A balloon payment is due when they turn eighteen, because of the assumption that college will help them become financially independent. When you die, you give them whatever is left. The oddest thing about this reverse-salary scheme is that you actually enjoy it and wish you could do more.

Benefits: While no health or dental insurance, no pension, no tuition reimbursement, no paid holidays, and no stock options are offered, this job supplies limitless opportunities for personal growth, unconditional love, and free hugs and kisses for life, if you play your cards right.

I did not write this......BUT it is SO TRUE!

Getting over a fear one way or another

So I am the BIGgest baby when it comes to needles and shots! My Dad use to get so mad at me when I would through a fit over a shot, at 16....LOL! I do not have any tattoos for this reason. And it took me a long time to get my ears pierced and I cried like a baby.  I do have my belly button pierced too, but there was some drinking involved. But I was still a big baby about it.
Anyways the point of this post is this....
I went to an obgyn specialists Wednesday about my blood clotting blood work. I do have a blood clotting disorder. My Homocysteine levels are higher then they should be. I have MTHFR. Now don't ask me anything about it, because it is like a foreign language. I was following everything the Dr. was saying, but I can not relay it all back. What I under stand is that this blood problem could (most likely) be the cause of my miscarriages. And that leads me to how we will prevent another miscarriage.
Needles!!!! And a LOT of them!
The Dr. told me that my best bet is to take Lovenox injections TWICE a day my WHOLE next pregnancy! That is right..... OVER 500 shots! I am freaking out a bit! I will do whatever it takes to have a healthy baby but the thought of the shots scare me. Maybe it wont be as bad as I think will. And hey, I might even be able to get a tattoo after this is all said and done. I guess I will have to see when the day comes. No reason to get nervous yet.....RIGHT?!?!

Oh and on top of the Lovenox injections, I will be on a prenatal vitamins (of course), extra folic acid, and a baby aspirin. Should be fun...HAHA!

Coming together to remember our babies!

Last Sat. (10-16-2010) I spent the day with wonderful people!
People that all had one thing in common!
We were all there to remember our lost babies!

We walked for our babies!
We wrote notes to our babies!
We released butterflies for our babies!

One for each of my Babies!
 We watched them fly away!

It took some longer then other!
Almost as if they didn't want to leave!
Then later in that day, some of us met in a beautiful park.
On a beautiful bridge, over a beautiful pond.
We released balloons for each of our babies!
My babies mixed in with a bunch of other angels!
IT WAS BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!

WE Remember!

October 15th...Today is for you!

Today is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. Today we remember all babies whom we carried but never met, all babies born sleeping, those we have held but could not take home, or those that came home but did not stay nearly long enough.
Tomorrow I will walk in the memory of my lost babies! And also in the memory of my great grandmother's baby. We will also be releasing butterflies!

Walk to Remember

We walk to remember the steps they'll never take.
Empty Arms Infant Loss Support Group is hosting Dothan, Alabama's 1st Annual Walk To Remember in recognition of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness month. The ceremony allows bereaved parents and their families to honor the lives of our babies lost through miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant death, and promote community awareness on the occurrence of Pregnancy and Infant Loss.

The ceremony will include a ½ mile walk, memorial service with the reading of each baby's name, and conclude with a butterfly release.

CD 13

Well here I am on CD13! We BD on CD9, CD11,CD12, and plan  tonight (and maybe the next night). I have given up on swaying for a girl. I just want a healthy baby. So we will see what happens. I had 2 lines this morning the same color. So our timing should be good (I hope).

This is a cheap dollar store brand test the colors are not as bright as the other test.
So fingers and toes crossed for a July baby!
